Donít dry-line, Lime-Line or hemp-Lime
Conventional drylining is extremely bad for old masonry buildings
It is a totally unacceptable solution because it Causes
many more problems than it solves
It is a largely a cosmetic solution, hiding the damp problems
It moves the dew point from the wall surface to the cold wall behind the dry lining, dramatically increasing condensation.
Over time this will be a source of mould and fungal growth which is both unhealthy and very smelly. .
